Diane Allen
15 Year Concertmaster • Flow State Expert
Musician • Best-Selling Author
I’m Diane Allen, a 15-year Concertmaster, Flow State Expert, and best-selling Author and there's one thing I know for sure:
Audiences do not attend concerts to hear a disengaged musician mechanically going through the motions.
What they expect is an experience where musicians get into their Flow State, breathe life into the music, and provide a transformational experience for all.
As the lead violinist my career and reputation depended on my ability to do exactly that.
With my elite New York City violin training and well over 1,000 concerts under my belt, turning on that light switch and expressing my humanity through the music became routine.
Except for this one concert.
I found myself disconnected from the music I loved, unable to access the state where my excellence feels effortless and my performances come alive.
This is how I discovered that peak performance becomes unattainable and unsustainable when people lose the connection with what lights them up.
This sparked a question that affects every workplace:
How do people attain and sustain performance excellence without becoming disconnected from themselves, their purpose, or the people around them?
Determined to solve the problem, I reverse-engineered how I uniquely enter the Flow State, an optimal state of mind where people feel their best, perform their best, and express their most authentic selves.
The result became Flow Strategy™, my neuroscience-backed framework for leaders and teams to activate Flow, on demand.
Today, I am an international keynote speaker, TEDx speaker and best-selling author of Flow: Unlock Your Genius, Love What You Do.
As a thought leader, I’ve been featured on TED, ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX.
Having appeared on stages over 40+ years, I bring a combination of real-world leadership experience and performance mastery to audiences around the world.
With my Copper Dragon violin, my signature keynote experiences blend live musical performance, neuroscience, storytelling, positive psychology, audience participation and actionable frameworks helping leaders and teams improve employee engagement, resilience, sustainable high performance, and create cultures where people thrive.
The result: Deep connection, strong leadership, increased engagement, and sustainable excellence rooted in what truly makes us human.
Flow is the gateway for
ALL talent to become TOP talent.
